So, how much? To be honest it really is one of those “piece of string” answers (sorry). But if you promise to read on we might give you a ballpark figure.

Here are some examples of things you might want to start thinking about:

• You might love all the magical little moments that happen at the start and end of the day, so you need us for a long time.

• If you’re eloping with a simple ceremony you might not need us for very long at all.

• You could be one of those amazing boyfriends who’s planning a surprise proposal and you need an undercover photographer to be there when it happens.

• You might be camera shy, so you’re going to add an engagement session to practice.

• Maybe you’re a couple who love gorgeous books and tactile objects so you want an album and a few prints.

• Mum & Dad might be the type who appreciate a mini album as a thank you.

Now, wedding photography should mean so much more than a price tag, it’s the only thing you’re left with apart from your ring and your spouse, etc etc… But you already know that. And it’s just nicer to have an idea, isn’t it?
