Cassidi + Donovan's minimalist Auckland city elopement is proof you can still have a beautiful wedding in the middle of a global pandemic.

Like many couples in 2021, Cassidi + Donovan had to tackle more than their fair share of wedding planning hurdles. They eventually made the call to cancel their original plans, but rocked the heck out of their chic city elopement. And the challenges they overcame together only made their intimate day all the more special.

While we couldn't photograph the ceremony due to Level 4 restrictions, Donovan's talented sister was able to photograph it on our behalf. Then we got to hang out with them in town afterwards, and had a blast capturing portraits for them in a few of our favourite spots.
